What are Airdrops?
Airdrops are a distribution mechanism used by blockchain projects to send crypto tokens directly to specific wallet addresses. Participation in OSYC may result in clients receiving additional yield through token airdrops.
Focusing on selected stablecoins within the Decentralized Finance ecosystem, Opportunistic Stablecoin Yield Strategy capitalizes on daily liquid, high-alpha investments enhanced by subsidies from non-economic entities, resulting in annual yields ranging from 15% to 40%.

Hashnote targets yields of at least 15% APY*
Hashnote performs extensive research and monitors protocols.
Hashnote only deploys into protocols that have been audited and have either never experienced any hacks or undergone significant remediation post-hack.
Hashnote ensures it has real-time ability to recall funds from a protocol.
Collateral is held in smart contracts.
Assets at Hashnote are held in secure MPC wallets through Fireblocks Vaults.
*Yields are dependent on factors including liquidity in DeFi pools and performance of underlying loans. Products are not insured and may lose value. Products may be subject to risks unique to the DeFi protocols engaged.
Hashnote’s Opportunistic Stablecoin Yield Strategy takes advantage of opportunities stemming from incentive programs designed to increase adoption by providing outsized rewards. In the stablecoin market, venture capital and token-raise funds are used to temporarily subsidize high yields. While unsustainable in the long term, this behavior is effective in gaining initial traction. Hashnote’s strategy capitalizes on these opportunities.
The current strategy involves deploying stablecoins into over-collateralized DeFi lending protocols and stablecoin-to-stablecoin liquidity provision on Automated Market Makers (AMMs).
Two of the main protocols Hashnote currently leverages are Kamino Finance and Orca. Hashnote will be analyzing new protocols for collateral management as they emerge over time.
PayPal’s new stablecoin PYUSD recently launched on the Solana network. To create adoption and use of the new stablecoin on Solana, PayPal and its partners have budgeted millions of dollars in incentive rewards (yield) for new users to hold PYUSD through the Solana blockchain. The incentive rewards paid to new users of this stablecoin are uniquely attractive and represent outsized rewards relative to the risk, with investors already earning over 30% APY as of July 10, 2024. Furthermore, OSYC clients may get additional yield via airdrops. For example, current clients are also eligible for Kamino Finance (KMNO) tokens airdrops .
